Can't wait to see what you add next.
Thanks for your continued efforts.

"OVER- also means "THE END".
This is incorrect. OVER always means the transmitting station is expecting a reply to his transmission. When a station has finished talking and is ending the conversation, the correct proword is OUT. This is the radio equivalent of hanging up the phone.
It is NEVER correct to use the phrase OVER AND OUT; For one thing there is no such proword and for another it is contradictory.

I like the idea of putting streaming audio of 14300 on this site - bobby must have all that worked out, and or tom, and it might be real easy to set up. But I am out of my programming league here ! Better stick to business and accounting software. Great work 73 Dale Miami FL | | | Post Reply | | |

Some comments respectfully submitted: Maybe a link page to get more detailed information such as satellite, radar and tracking maps on tropical storms. A great site for that is www.boatus.com/hurricanes/tracking.asp I'am sure there are others. Also, I wish you could encourage more of your net controllers to have a picture on qrz.com, I think it would give your net some more personal appeal.
Is there a way you could stream the frequency 14.000 live on the net with a link to it on this site. This way anyone could monitor the net anywhere in the world. This may be easier said than done.
Great job. I will mark the site as a favorite

I know you elude to this elsewhere on the site, but in the Net Checkin Basics section could you add something about waiting for the NCS to ask for checkins? It gets a little aggrivating when someone tries to check in while you are in the middle of a list of stations already acknowledged, or working traffic, or retrieving the weather, or otherwise not ready to copy down new stations calling in. | | | Post Reply | Display replies to this message
